AEGIS Construction Services' own standard of excellence is reflected in our approach to the project as the Owner's Agent. From the Initial Site Assessment or Program Phase to completion of the final punch list items, AEGIS Construction Services brings a known quality of experience to the project. As Assistant Superintendant of Rutherford County Schools for Engineering & Construction for over six years, our previous Project Manager, Mr. McLaughlin and his team have demonstrated and improved this method of construction successfully with elementary schools ranging from $68.00 to $70.00 per square foot, middle schools ranging from $71.00 to $74.00 per square foot, one high school for $78.00 per square foot, and a more recent high school for $70.00 per square foot. Stadium and ball field facilities have also been completed at low costs and outstanding quality. Mr. McLaughlin has since been replaced with one of Middle Tennessee's most highly sought after framing carpenters, Mr. Michael Chavis who has continued to lead our projects and provide our clients with only the best final product.

Our Proven experience demonstrates that we understand how to build commercial and residential structuras within established cost parameters while maintaining a high quality of construction. In such case, all staffing and testing of the project that is normally not part of the architect's fee can be covered by AEGIS Construction Services' fees including geotechnical, soil, concrete, asphalt, steel, and full roof inspections. These test and inspection fees and General Conditions are extras with other firms.

We offer the option of a flat fee or a percentage of the construction project. There are no changes to these fees, even if Change Orders occur, except if the owner changes the scope of work. Once a project is bid and awarded, the bid cost, plus an agreed upon contingency, would not be exceeded unless the Board changes the scope of the project. Otherwise, no suprises! In partnership with AEGIS Construction Services, the Board of Education's primary responsibility would be to process payments, sign contracts, and review the ongoing reporting schedules with AEGIS.
