Japan has donated R25 million to World Food Programme’s feeding scheme in Eswatini.About 16% of the Eswatini population faces acute food shortages.About 24 000 school-going children will benefit from the feeding scheme.Japan this week contributed an equivalent of R25 million to the World Food Programme’s (WFP) feeding scheme for boys and girls of school-going age in Eswatini, Africa’s last absolute monarchy.The targeted number of school kids to be fed is 24 000, of which 11 571 are girls, WFP said in a statement.
